This blog is dedicated to collecting and sharing stories about the history of California horses and the people who loved them. The stories will come from my own independent equine history research.
Some of the horses featured here will be famous; others may only have been known by their owners, but that doesn't make them any less important in the hearts of the people who loved them.
When the opportunity presents itself, I may also offer stories of horses from other parts of the United States and the world, that may connect to California's own rich equine history.
